Please Support Our School

Dear Parents:

I hope this school year has gotten off to a good start for your child. I hope that we can all have a great year. We have already planned some new fundraising activities for this school year. In light of the fact, that many of our extras (such as puppetry, circus arts, etc.) have been cut due to budget concerns, I am asking everyone to support the PA and make a voluntary contribution in the form of a check or money order, made out to the PA of P.S. 196. Your donations will help the PA to try to get back some of our extras. If you can, please reach out to your neighbors, friends and maybe your child's grandparents, so that we might help the kids have a really great year.

Please note that our PA meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the school library. One week prior to the meetings, notices are sent home with the kids outlining the agenda of each month's meeting. I would like everyone who possibly can, to come to our meetings. (We have babysitting available for school-age children).
