- PARENT NEWS
UPDATE
As
the holidays are upon us, it is a good time to make sure that
your child’s emergency cards
(blue) are up-to-date. Please make sure
that we have your current home, cell and work telephone
numbers. All caregivers must be listed on the card. No child
will be released from school unless the person picking them up
is listed on the emergency card. Thank you for your
cooperation. The children’s safety is our TOP PRIORITY.
SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
School success depends upon good attendance. That means being
in school each day, and getting there on time. Children who
arrive late disrupt the class and take longer to adjust to the
classroom routines . If your child is absent three or more
days, a doctor’s note is required upon their return to school.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
If your child is going to be absent from
school, please call the main office at 718-263-9770, before
9:00 am.
|
Please
make note that children may only ride the bus that they
are assigned to. If your child has a play date with a
child who rides a different bus., we cannot put your
child on a different bus. Please make arrangements
accordingly. |
I
want to take this opportunity to wish each of you a wonderful
Thanksgiving holiday that you will hopefully share with all your
loved ones.
I wish each of you many, many more Thanksgiving holidays ahead
filled with health and happiness always.
Best wishes, Ellen Maurer
