Paper Supply Shortage
We discussed the following as potential solutions to the school paper shortage:
1. Add paper reams to supply lists for September
2. Use school messenger for PA notices
3. GO GREEN! Send home a flyer asking parents is they want email notices instead, and have a set time for parents to use a school computer to check website.
4. Company donations
Response to comments on surveys
We discussed the following as response to PA members’ comments on surveys:
1. Write a positive letter listing PA accomplishments each year so that members know how much their PA does for the school.
2. Talk to Mrs. Migliano about posting a sign that says “No smoking & No car idling” in the front of the school for the health of our children.
3. Have more “fun” events: Movie Night in late February, Square Dancing in Mid-March, and book club in April.
4. Start a music program, “Bonjour Musique” which would entail leasing a piano, writing the Keys To Achievement grant, renting instruments and trying to get music teachers…to be discussed with PA exec board and Principal.
Kindergarten Annex
1. Do the teachers want walking ropes?
2. Arrange a meeting with the Rabbi of the Yeshiva to discuss parking concerns.
3. Design and purchase a sign for the doors of the Annex.
